Recently, five other people from Awdal Diaspora community have been illegally detained, mistreated and incarcerated by Hargeisa criminal enterprises for their unionist political believes. The Awdal State communities around the globe are shocked and dismayed the continuous billigrant transgressions of The secessionist appointed governor of Awdal.
The people of Awdal are covering their faces in shame for the Silaanyo’s disgustingly bungling and ineffective handling of their public affaires. Hargeisa’s relentless crackdown on people of Awdal is sweeping in scale and shocking in its brutality. Their goal is to suppress people of Awdal and loots their resources and silence all signs of ‘political decent’ in the region.
In addition to these groups, folks from all walks of life – farmers, teachers, medical professionals, civil servants, singers, businesspeople, and countless others – are regularly arrested in Awdal based only on the suspicion that they don’t support the secessionist policies or support Somali Unity and the autonomy of Awdal State.
Many of those arrested have been detained without charge for weeks or even months and subjected to repeated torture. Throughout the region, hundreds of people are detained in an unofficial detention centers or clan militia torture camps such as the Mandera prison camp. Recently, the Hargeisa mafia have even illegally extradited civilian to prison camps in Djibouti where they have been tortured.
The allegations against these people is baseless and it is merely a pretext to silence critical voices and justify repression.
It is a common knowledge to all that the regional authorities in Hargeisa are a bunch of unrepentant criminals, but unfotunetely the international community is oblivious to their maleficence’s and they continue pouring money in the region in the name of democratization. Let it be know to all that Somaliland is neither a democracy nor a antonoumous state, but it is just a clan foxhole with a fancy name.
The people of Awdal state want to let the world know that they would not tolerate the abuses of the Hargeisa Mafia any more. The time has come to liberate Awdal by any means necessary and Awdal State is ready to lead the way.
Furthermore, Awdal State authority is very disappointed With Awdal intellectuals and elder who do not see the dustbin that the Awdal region has become.
The deafening silence of the Awdal Elders about the ongoing criminal activities of Awdal’s appointed governor is tantamount to acquiescence. It is illegal to sell a property you don’t own .This governor had begun to illegally sell Awdal’s landmark properties and public utility facilities and spaces . Vacant spaces in Borama or Awdal belongs to the public at large and not to anyone person.
The elders and intellectuals in Awdal were also silent when the mafia in Hargeisa began sending foreign cronies to conduct illegal mining in the region. The world must know that the illegal mining conducted by unscrupulous foreign entities have resulted environmental pollutions that destroyed the meager resources for the rural communities. The daily systematic of harassing of travelers in border crossing and extorting huge sums of money from them. The Awdal Elders should realize that the Hargeisa appointed governor is out to destroy Awdal’s reputation by labeling them as terrorists heaven in his latest interview with the BBC Somali Services.
Unfortunately, Awdal is entrapped between wickedness of it’s people and mischievous-sprit of Siilany’s aids . It is in danger of perpetual inept persons related to Siilaanyo and if urgent steps are not put in place to expel these people from Awdal, it is very likely that a new wars will erupts and instability and enmity will reign.
If people run their state and follow mature politics instead of the following toutish politics that Siilaanyo loves so much, they could develops Awdal like Model somali state and probably have garnered ideas from well-meaning people on how to redeem our state from the woes it has become more than the Rabaax met it.
Finally, Separatist’s regime Must immediately release Rep. Axmed Xuseen Xasan who has been held in Borama detention for the last three days without charges.
They must also release three other community leaders from Diaspora community recently arrested in Borama and others who have been charged but against whom authorities have yet to provide any compelling evidence that they committed any crime and turned over them over to Djibouti .
Ramaax must know that he has no authority , power and jurisdiction to sell community owned real properties in Borama.
He must stop his naked transgression and leave the state immediately , peacefully or forcefully
