In many times,  the Gadabursi people came across leaders who were hard to forget. Long ago, there were the great men whose wisdom, words and actions lighted a trail to follow for gnenerations to come. In the very recent history, there is a new breed of so called political and traditional leaders. This group has a tunnel vision which starts from and leads only to themselves and to their  personal needs alone. Well, not always because they are helpful or bequeath us with some wonderful experiences, but sometimes they give us unforgettable awful experiences with their utterly bad behavior and selfish characteristics.

A very peculiar and common trait which a selfish and conceited person possess is that he always puts himself and his needs on the forefront. He only gives heed to his priorities, his goals and in the process would not think of anyone else. Unfortunately,  many of the current Gadabursi people’s front-line runners are typical selfish traitors and among them are:

Abdirahman Aw Ali

This man was the runaway boy from his people who with their reasons decided to stay out of the Somali civil wars. He enjoyed the death of his kinsmen and danced, dined, slept, sided and laughed with the enemy. As a single person, he thought all his Gadabursi clan were wrong. That is enough proof to call him selfish and traitor. Worse than that he became to lead the people he left and fought against them. In short, he was in the position where he had no vision to lead. He is still one of the main obstacles of peace and stabitlity within the people. Abdirahman is a low-life, selfish and corrupt person whose title is TOLXUMEEYE. This man is arrogant, rude, uncaring and equally irresponsible and immoral.

This following incident was the recollections of Musa Bixi whose story I would better relay it in Somali. “Maalintay iigu naxdin badnayd waxay ahayd markay innamo yar yar oo SNM ihi i soo horjoogsadeen. Dhiig badan baa dharkooda ku yaallay oo xatta waxan xasuustaa inay dhego dadna siteen. Waar maxaad samayseen baan ku idhi. Waxay iigu jawaabeen, “Gadabursi baylahsan baan helnay”. Markaa Abdirahmaanna agtayda ayuu taagnaa. Waxan ku idhi waar waxaad samayseen waa khalad.

On daily basis the SNM holigans using Ethiopian armored vehicles indiscriminately massacred the unarmed little girls and boys in their sheep herds, water seaking caravans on the roads and villagers in their homes. Those poor nomad victims did not know the least idea about what the conflict or the civil war was all about. Those  commanded the cold murders were and are still close buddies of Abdirahman.

Dahir Rayale

Was another Gadabursi traitor who lacked the basic knowledge of his own people. He also had no political vision and he worked with the directions of others. He left the worst record for his people when attempted to exchange their lands with a travel document, their blood with his election and their dignity with his personal pride.

Abdirahman Zeilici

This man`s head is completely empty of any worldly, political and traditional experience. He is a typical parrot whose mind consistently repeats the words of the last person that was around him. He is also a true demagog who readily bootlicks for the least cause. In any reasonable administrator, I would only employ him as a messenger to dispatch papers from one office to another or as a store-keeper.

Mohamed Rashid Sheikh Hassan

He tried to squeeze himself in Siyad Barre’s PROs and was flanked. Then he associated himself with Abdirahman Ahmed Ali (Abdirahman Tuur) who also flanked him. Again,  he went to Egal who never accepted feeble-minded figures like him and failed to be a meaningful candidate.  B’a  iyo  T’a  midna maaha. He only knows to run after his master like a little puppy. He never thought of leading his own people.

Ali Hamud Jibril

This one is a MEANCE…MENACE…MENACE to himself, to his clan, to the administration for which he works and to his creator. He is born bad and will die bad. Because of that, I don’t blame him but I blame the administration that employed him.

Ismail Mumin Arr.

This man knows that he is working in a circle that he dosent belong to. He is attempting to act a drama in an imaginary theatre and within a large audience of fools. An experienced educated man should have avoided actions and thoughts other than his own.

Abdillahi Dheere

This man of yesterday took the wrong route of politics. Instead of leading as a political leader, he chose to walk the tradional line of Suldans and Aqils. Dhawal is his role model and that lead him to the deep trenches where he creeps in the mudd like a trapped rat looking for a way out.

Ahmed Haddi

This faceless man,  I  described well  in my recent paper  on Oct.-29-11in several websites presents Haddi as: “In 1991,  the SNM collaborated with the Ethiopian army and launched a surprise attack on Borma and its civilians. The attacking enemies murdered many unarmed civilians and looted their properties.

Within that dark histroy, Haddi also recorded his  dark history when he  made this statement on the London BBC Somali Radio,  “The SNM killed Oromo Ethiopian dissidents in Borama.”

What morals would allow any one to to make such cruel words on the dead bodies of his own people?

Haddi was senseless supporter of SNM against SDA but how he could go that far was a surprie to every one. From that day he got his new name as “ Haddi Oromo”. In that case, to call him the governor of Awdal is, for sure, adding insult to the injury.

This man shared the meat of his dead brothers with the ferrocious merciless enemy. He is also ready, for any opportunity, to plunge his dagger right at their back to satisfy his big belly. That is what he did yesterday when he, as usual, barked like a wild dog after his people in his emptiness. The people he was blmaming were set to travel in their counrty and within their people.

Those leaders of his community did not need visas from Hargeisa to go to their people. This shows that how Haddi’s empty head never reason but readily available for sale to dispatch messages for those who could cheaply buy it.”

This writing is meant to correct mistakes. We have to point finger at the causes of our problems without siding with the traitors on tribal lines. Traitors are a threat to the common interest of all and they work for their greed. They use the tribal wagon as their engine.
