Its inevitable International Community Intervene severe Grought in Southern Somalia.

It was nearly 1970’s at the time first time severe drought occurred in history Somalia , but luckily that time Somalia central government lead late president General Mohamed Siyad Barre played big role how people affected drought and famine get assistant needed, every essential things in life was being brought those in need, and even some time government evacuated most effected people in to grassland area mainly between two Somali big rivers Shabelle and Jubba.

Now things is different at the moment there is no functioning government  since 1991 , when Somali president was overthrown by opposition rebellion forces  but what makes things worse and worse, Islamist groups control most part in the south  already expelled all Humanitarian Agencies , after they accuse they were spying for western enemies and also preaching Christianity faith. Those weak elderly and children fled into neighbouring countries Kenya and Ethiopia to seek food, water and all other essential need it was longest journey human being ever made to survive.

This kind of famine causing death and starvation of hundreds of thousands or even millions , is behind two main obstacles, first environmental problem such as prolonged drought  for the last two years neither enough rains was not being receiver or good harvest. Southern part of the country war still going on between fragile transitional federal governments supported by African Union peace keeper and Islamist insurgents having link global terrorist groups.

in this world we live at the moment famine can be easily prevented if kind of functioning institutions exist but in country has no legitimate government for so long period of time this is impossible to happen, weak government internationally recognized control just few district in the capital cannot be expected to do more in order to help thousands internally displaced people seek refuge Transitional Federal Government under control,

Now, it is time international community intervene desperate human crisis deteriorating day by day inside Somalia and also overcrowded refugees camps in Kenya and Ethiopia, and pledged relief operation must be immediately start it could be catastrophic situation ever happen in Somalia. As we know international community already intervened Somalia situation early 1990’s at the time Somalia central government was ousted by rebellion forces many were on the verge to die, because people lost every they possessed there was no food and all things essential in human life.

United nation general assembly approved mission called ‘Restoration of peace and hope’ it’s main purpose was to provide food, medicine and other vital things to those people in need inside Somalia, the operation was carried out special US troops but received great opposition inside the country, because Somali believe  American invade their country  and sometimes they call new colony. Thousands of people was being killed during that period of time both sides mainly Somali fighters ,although countable number of US soldiers was killed as well but casualties was more in Somali side.

Finally, things is different from that time more than two decade ago, humanitarian relief operation cannot be easily delivered inside without UN backing operation that can protect any disturbance  from  fighting groups in the country not having these supports, foreign staffs work for international organizations cannot operate freely inside because either they may be killed or kidnapped, for that reason it is inevitable immediate to be taken in order to save lives of thousand vulnerable Somali people faced severe drought and ongoing fighting between rival groups.
