Mohamed was torch-bearer and a man of vision. Besides his job, he started to build the first agro-industry factory in Somaliland at Amoud. After making intensive research on Aloe plants,(Dacar) intended for the factory, he made acres and acres of farmland in the Baki area for the Aloe plants. In the first steps, he started to plant meticulously 180,000 aloe plants and was increasing to 500,000 plants. He planned to have 1 million plants by next year.

The factory is designed to produce cosmetics, cleaning agents, soaps etc, all made from the natural ingredients of the gelatinous substance obtained from the aloe vera. The first produce was marketed as far as Kenya and Djibouti. When the Factory was inaugurated early 2010, it was hugely applauded and admired. Mohamed was commended for his brilliant venture.

Mohamed’s efforts showed his amazing abilities to overcome challenges Mohamed left a wife (Fowzia Hassan Aw Ali) and four children.

May ALLAH rest peace and mercy on his soul.
