Mr. Siilaanyo we hate those who feed racism, who feed fear, and who feed their own ego with constant grand standing for whatever their cause is.

Why are the political leaders in Somaliland abusing their powers? Why are they lawless? Why has the society failed to checkmate their powers? Somaliland’s democracy project and its civic well being is in absolute danger, if the society does not tame the absolute power wielded by those in position of authority. Human beings tend to abuse powers whenever they have excess of it. As we all know the crude and anti-democratic behaviors of the leaders are influenced by their absolute power, which makes them absolutely corrupt.

Mr. Siilaanyo, his leadership is responsible for the entrenched injustice in our society and the attendant social crises. As we all know justice is the ligament which holds civilized beings and civilized nations together. The new president action is burning and is choking on its process of democratization of Somaliland. Those who are campaigning feverishly to actualize the plot are shielded and motivated by the power of the President. However, they should be made to understand that all things have an end and that they are in for a “Mission Impossible.

As we all know the most important cornerstone of democracy is rule of law. Honestly speaking, Our leader and many of those currently at the somaliland political leadership do not seem to understand why they are there or the way they are elected; and this is not the model of leadership the somaliland society wants to embrace. Already people are recently reporting Mr. Siilanyo is not obligated to listen to the public but to his political party leaders. This shows the depth of his dictatorship and lack of understanding of the goverment business and  Constitution.

We need honest committee that is in a hurry to amend the Constitution not to suit the selfish political interest of an individual. You should understand that the Constitution is an important document that belongs to the somaliland people. The people should not continue to allow visionless and antidemocratic elements to manage Somaliland democratic process, because the consequences could consume the entire nation. As experience has shown, absolute power tends to corrupt absolutely.

Dear somaliland people, the problems in Somaliland are going to increase if we don’t start telling these irresponsible politicians when our shoes are pinching. Mr.Siilaanyo stop the celebration and stop wasting our money. We are tired of living in the Stone Age so please give us electricity. We are tired of water-born diseases and lead poisoning, give us clean water. Give us good schools, we can’t send our children abroad.

Stop using hatemongering  to destroy the somaliland nation. Give us good roads; we are tired of loosing loved ones on the road daily when they travel to Berbera. Do something about the charcoal, plan our environment; we are sick of wasting our forests. Give us good health facilities, we want to live long. Stop any plans to steal our monies, it is our common interest, count our votes. We want to be part of the change to come. Do these things and much more. These things must in be place or in progress by your third year in office. I don’t think we will worry if you decide to spend 10 million on the  third anniversary of your presidency.

For now, there is nothing to celebrate. How hard is it to see that? Particularly, you must get rid of Mohamed Hashi. He is a warlord. He targeted certain people, when he was a Mayor of Hargeisa and destroyed their properties. Now, he is  targeting the same people again and hiring his clan as Custom Agents. Is the Ministry of finance his private company ?. This time it will be his funeral.

Stop wasting our money. Tears and sorrow fill the land Stop fighting over our money.

Shame on Somaliland politicians.
