بسم أللله ألرحمن الرحيم: I was deeply saddened to hear about the death of Prof. Siciid Maygaag Samatar. I know how difficult this must be for the family, and I want to sincerely give my condolences to Amran Abdi Musa and her children. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I met Siciid for the first time at the 2006 SOPRI conference. I was amazed by Siciid and his determination and willingness to make a difference for his people both here in the U.S. and back home.
