Abdul kadir Haji Mohamuud Dhaqane state minister for the Somali premier’s Office has claimed to be threatened by President Abdulahi Yusuf Ahmed because of the minister’s support for the rival group in Mogadishu.

In an interview with Shabelle Radio, Mr: Abdul kadir who was one of the members relocated to Mogadishu has told that he tried to handshake President Yusuf while the two came across in Nairobi but encountered a threat from the president.
The president said to me “ I shall never forgive you the mistake you made” was quoted from the Minister.”I don’t know what the president meant for that, there is no personal dispute between me and the president other than I have sidelined with the group based in Mogadishu who oppose the deployment of troops from neighbouring countries” said Mr: Abdulkadir during the interview.

Meanwhile, there are crucial consultations going on in Nairobi over the proposed session of the Transitional Federal Parliament of Somalia inside the country.

The trio of the Transitional Federal Government of Somalia, President Abdulahi Yusuf, Prime Minister Gedi and the house speaker Sharif Hassan Shiekh Adan are in Nairobi to have discussions over where to hold the session.

Sources close to the Government told Shabelle Radio that there is a heated debate, which may lead former allies to turn against each other such as the President, the Prime Minister and Mohamed Dhere, a powerful warlord who controls Jowhar where the Government is seated.

President Yusuf and Sharif Hassan, the speaker of the Parliament are said to have suggested that the session of the Parliament be held in Baidoa while Prime Minister Gedi and the man who hosted the Government in his Town Mohamed Dhere are campaigning for the session be held in Jowhar.
